The Practice Like Pros tour continued tracking NIKE Coach of the Year Clinics this past weekend, making two presentations Friday at the Wyndham Resort Hotel, Orlando, and another Saturday at theGreen Tree Hilton, Pittsburgh. Among the reaction:
From the legendary Bill Gierke, a 42-year coach in Orlando high schools: "I'll be speaking in San Diego next week and I'm going to incorporate the Practice Like Pros philosophy in my talk. Football must change. This is a new era and football must change with it. I remember (Florida State Coach) Bobby Bowden telling me many years ago, "If we get all the players hurt during the week, they damn sure can't help us on Saturday."
